The kids and I spent Thursday afternoon at the Discovery Center while Steve did some work. It is a great science center complete with an amazing aquarium. It was easy to spend 6 hrs there. Some of our favorite things were the air chair, sea horses, 3D lion show and trying to break a window with a bowling ball.

We met Steve at closing time and headed for the hotel and the girls first theory class via Skype. Sarah and Sabrina will continue with their class thanks to the internet. Here they are scrambling to get their homework done before the class.

After class finished the kids hurried to get ready for a swim in the indoor pool. I forgot to take my camera. =(
After a good nights sleep Steve and I started trying to decide what fun things we could do on the way home. We looked at the NASCAR hall of fame but we are not as big of fans as the price suggested. So we decided on the zoo in Columbia, SC and the Billy Graham Library.
I was not sure about seeing the Billy Graham Library at first. It seemed to me that a place to honor what he had done was not in his character, so I was curious but .... It turned out to be an amazing experience. In a series of small theaters and displays it walked you through his decision to follow God's call to be an evangelist, part of his first crusade in California played in the next theater, then we heard about how he met and won his lovely wife Ruth, through all the theaters the gospel message that he preached was shared and at the end they had councilors available to pray with any one who wanted prayer it was beautifully done.
