Friday

River Lagan is very deep, it was what made it such an important ship building  port.  Even now many huge ships call at its port because they will fit.  We were able to admire a cruise ship yesterday, the Caribbean Princess.

It was docked close enough to the Titanic Museum to get some really good pictures.

What do you do when you are standing on the slipway of a ship that holds the worlds attention 100 years after her sinking, looking at a beautiful new super cruise ship?  You take crazy pictures.

We have turned a national heritage site into our play ground. oops

Yesterday the kids decided we needed to crash Steve's Ikea lunch with his co workers.  The cafeteria where he works is closed on Friday so they often head to Ikea for lunch.  Last time we tried to meet Steve there bus issues made us 1 1/2 hrs late.  So this time we set off early.  We got there early too because everything  went so well.  Only Steve and his buddy Don were able to make it but it was nice to get out.
