Some thoughts

Our kids daily wish is that their friends could all travel here and see the wonderful things we are seeing.  What fun it would be if we could pack everyone up and bring them here for a week or two!  Well we know that somethings are just wishes and dreams, but with this blog we have been able to share with you our favorite sights.

Some days Steve and I are just amazed at the beauty right outside our window.  We recently were told our apartment was probably valued at 300,000 pounds when it was being built.  With the change in finances it is now a rental unit and we get to live here.

Befast is a city of changing weather.  The clouds race across the sky.  Storms come and go in minutes.  All the clouds produces the most beautiful skies.  Our computer is full of picture taken right out our front window.

In February when Steve was laid up for two months.  I would drive him to the chiropractor and physio.  while he laid on the back seat of the truck.  When I commented one day about the snow melting on the grass between the lanes.  His reply was one of surprise.  I suddenly realized he had spent 6 weeks laying down and was not seeing what was happening outside.  I determined then and there to do something I had read about in books, be his eyes.  I tried to look for things on our drives that he would care about seeing and tell him about it.

It has been fun to continue that by being your eyes in Ireland.  My hope is that you can see and feel what we are experiencing with my writing.  Thank you for reading and for the encouraging comments.  This is actually the biggest writing project I have ever undertaken.

luv yah,
